where I can wipe away the
madness from your face
big country, look away
the past week was, to put it literally, madly insane.
my stint for the NBA Madness Asia Tour 2007 has finally ended.
concentrating on pr purely this time made me realise i love it more and more each day.
and more and more i feel i made the right choice.
i'll leave some pictures to tell you more about the madness.
ending in singapore, the NBA Madness Asia Tour has toured 6 other countries and brought international celebs in the basketball world to our sunny/rainy/pms-y island.
my job? manage the media. phoebe was the media assistant, i was the p-ar-rer girl who ran around doing crazy interviews and walkie-talkie-ing and making sure everyone was happy.
Sly can slam dunk in that suit. he's a real nice person on the inside, and kudos to him cos the weather was not helping. TJ, great inspiration to all kids. being one of the shorter NBA players, he proves height is not an issue. hey, russ was in basketball too what.
those girls were too hot to be real ok. i was too scared to talk to them all through out because i was afraid they would make me disintergrate on the spot.
see the girls dance. sorry for the shoulder in the way, the bodyguard was too tall for me.
finally, the team behind everything.
alaric and siva, my two directors of everything because the flash was not helping the situation.
bobby, the designer who was also the water boy, registering boy, bullied boy and other things.
vetri, my pr reference book. he knew his stuff man.
bernard, i really don't know what you were doing but you looked damn busy all the time. nonetheless you always had the time for a cig with me.
the clients were amazing too.
victor's my absolute favourite because he reminds me of the waste. by the way, see if you can see his face upclose in the photo. he's almost 40. shit you fountain of youth, he's got the edmund-chen-chew-chor-meng syndrome.
carlo, made me feel all warm inside. he makes you feel like he knows you forever.
hung, the pr man also. always on the ball one.
and richie, my matchmaker. do you accept visa?
NBA was an eye-opening, a jaw-dropper and a picker-upper for me.
sometimes, you need one thing to give you a kick in life.
and my kick came.
it came with a lot of pain though.
